The plurality of message notifications are generated in an operating system and an application. The method also includes comparing content of a message corresponding to a message notification among the plurality of message notifications with a plurality of rules for analysis of message content. When the content of the message matches with a rule of the plurality of rules, determining whether the matching rule comprises a black list rule. The black list rule comprises excluding the message notification among the plurality of message notifications indicated to be displayed at a user device. The method further includes preventing the message notification among the plurality of message notifications to be displayed at the user device in response to determining that the rule is comprises the black list rule.
