Abstract: A method for an aerosol delivery device, may include storing, during use of the aerosol delivery device and in a memory of the aerosol delivery device, information recording usage characteristics of the aerosol delivery device. The method may further comprise creating, using a wireless communication interface of the aerosol delivery device, a connectionless-state advertising packet that includes information relating to an identity and advertising state of the aerosol delivery device and a first set of information recording usage characteristics of the aerosol delivery device from the memory; and transmitting the advertising packet via the wireless communication interface.

Abstract: A mobile pallet for loading into a container, the pallet comprising: a pallet chassis defining a leading end, a rear end and opposite sides of the pallet; wheels supporting the chassis for mobility; and at least one locking mechanism on one side of the pallet capable of extending outwardly of the pallet and locating against an adjacent inner side wall of the container to create a wedge between the pallet and the side wall thereby locking the pallet in the container.

Abstract: A pallet for use with a freight container includes a chassis having a leading edge, a trailing edge opposite the leading edge and a plurality of sides between the leading edge and the trailing edge, along with a locomotion device for rolling the chassis into, and out of, the freight container. A locking device is provided at two sides of, and located at, either the leading edge or the trailing edge of the pallet for immobilizing the chassis within the freight container with the locking device able to be engaged with a container wall, or another, adjacent pallet, to one side of the plurality of sides of the initial pallet for use with the freight container. The locking device is further able to engage a container wall, or the adjacent pallet, to the leading edge or the trialing edge of the initial pallet for preventing movement in mutually perpendicular directions in a horizontal plane.

Abstract: A pallet for use within a sea freight container includes a chassis, which has a locomotion device, such as wheels or a roller, enabling it to be moved into, and out of, the container, and at least one locking device to immobilize the pallet within the container. A first locking mechanism is pivotally mounted on a leading edge of the pallet and can be rotated outwardly from the chassis and engage side walls of the container. A second locking mechanism may be provided on a trailing edge of the pallet, which includes a screw member which can be screwed out to engage side walls of the container. A third locking mechanism may, preferably, be included which has an extensible member to abut one or more rear doors of the container. These locking mechanism maintain the pallet securely in a fixed location within the sea freight container.
