  • Patent number: 6842957
Abstract: Process for producing a tubular component which comprises sections which are intentionally different from one another with regard to one or more aspects selected from the group consisting of aspects including material, thickness, size, more specifically circumference or diameter, and the like, and hydroforming of the component, in which process the component is produced by rolling up a substantially flat sheet, which flat sheet substantially corresponds to a flat blank of the tubular component.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 2, 2001
Date of Patent: January 18, 2005
    Assignee: Corus Staal BV
Inventor: Maurice Gerardus Maria Van Giezen
  • Patent number: 6758360
Abstract: A pallet container is provided comprising an inner plastic container (10) for transporting liquids. The inner container (10) is secured to a pallet (20) by means of a grid support structure (30). The intersections (9) of the first and second grid elements (1, 2) are connected by penetrating the second element (2) through the first element (1). The first and second elements (1, 2) are then connected to one another at one or more positions in the region of the intersection (9).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 18, 2001
Date of Patent: July 6, 2004
Assignee: Royal Packaging Industry Leer N.V.
Inventors: Maurice Gerardus Maria Van Giezen, Paul Martens
  • Patent number: 6688803
Abstract: A connection assembly of first and second elements. The first element has a receiving opening through which the second element is passed and penetrates the first element. The first element is connected to the second element at one or more positions in the region of their intersection. At least one of the first and second elements have ridges arranged to lie adjacent the opposing elements. A plurality of the elongate elements can be interconnected in a plurality of connection assemblies to form a grid structure.

  • Patent number: 5823382
Abstract: Baseplate (4) for a pallet container (1). The baseplate (4) is designed to accommodate the container section of a pallet container (1). To ensure run-off of the fluids which are present in the pallet container (1) towards an outflow opening with valve (6) close to a peripheral side of the pallet container (1), the baseplate (4) is constructed with a slope. This slope is such that, in the normal use position of the baseplate (4), this baseplate (4) is constructed with a downward slope to all sides from the center point of this place (4), whilst a peripheral gutter (13) is provided. The lowest point thereof is located at the outflow opening for the fluids.
