Abstract: Use of a compound of formula (I): wherein: R1 is phenyl optionally substituted by halogen, cyano, C1-4 alkyl or C1-4 haloalkyl; R2 is hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl or C3-6 cycloalkyl; and R3 is a group having an NH or OH that has a calculated or measured pKa of 1.0 to 8.0; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, in the manufacture of a medicament for use in the treatment of osteoarthritis or osteoarthrosis.
