  • Publication number: 20080096621
Abstract: The present invention relates to a straw removal method designed in particular to remove the leaves and other plant debris along agricultural products such as corn stalks or sugar canes. The invention also relates to a straw removal device for applying the method of the invention. The device comprises at least one transfer belt (9) carrying the agricultural products to be treated, a device (1-3) for blowing air through the transfer belt, and finally, an aeraulic bell (11-13) designed to orient (10) the air flow and/or the plant debris transported in the air flow and to tear off the unnecessary plant debris (A2) such as the leaves of the agricultural product and to transfer them to a receptacle zone (14).

  • Patent number: 7024799
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for treating products with air in order to enable the conservation, storage and use thereof. Said invention also relates to a device for treating such products and the products obtained using said treatment method. The products (P) to be treated, such as a hay drier or other similar agricultural products, are loaded into a closed space (20) that is connected to a thermodynamic machine (21) which is controlled using a programmable automaton (22) and which is powered by an electrical cabinet (25). Three mass of water in air sensors (Q1, Q2 and Q3) determine the operation of the machine according to the desired treatment objectives both in terms of moisture in relation to the product treated and power consumption. The invention is suitable for treating diverse products such as agricultural products.

  • Patent number: 4669570
Abstract: The present invention concerns an anti-theft device for automotive vehicles acting on the braking circuit to lock the wheels. The device according to the invention acts on the hydraulic braking circuit of a vehicle, the circuit comprising a generator of hydraulic energy (1) or master cylinder connected by the intermediary of hydraulic conduits to hydraulic energy receiving mechanisms or brake (2), the device being characterized essentially by a second generator of hydraulic energy (3) connected to the hydraulic braking circuit below the first generator (1) and by a hydraulic circuit selector means (4) which switches the receiving mechanisms (2) either only with the first energy generator (1), or only with the second (3), this latter taking place when a surveillance circuit detects information indicative of an unauthorized use of the vehicle, which surveillance circuit in this case acts on the second generator (3) such that this latter pressurizes the brakes of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4177495
Abstract: A variable electric capacitor has two electrode units consisting of a plurality of plates or a single spirally wound plate with several turns. The plates or turns have opposite lateral edges, one of which is free and the other is fixed to a support. The plates or turns of the two electrode units are interleaved and to change their mesh, one electrode unit is movable relative to the other. Each electrode unit has locating elements for the free lateral edge of plate or turn of the other electrode unit. These locating elements adjoin the supports of the electrode unit concerned and are formed to hold the free lateral edge of each plate or turn of the other electrode unit in a predetermined position when both electrode units are in their maximum mesh position.
