  • Patent number: 7828925
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for flat edge-to-edge assembly of two portions of textile parts by means of a gluing ribbon overlapping the two edges. According to this process, before the gluing ribbon is put into place, two borders adjacent to the edges are glued onto each other, so as to hold the edges close to each other. The two glued borders are shorn close to where the two edges are fixed together, and the gluing ribbon (28) is applied overlapping the two edges that are brought together. The shorn glued borders, are flattened when applying the gluing ribbon.

  • Publication number: 20070041067
Abstract: The present invention concerns a strip for safeguarding a document, comprising a support on which there is formed in the longitudinal direction of the strip an alternation of generally metallised regions and generally transparent regions, said alternation being capable of establishing a contrast on a scale identified as global at the level of the document to be safeguarded in such a way as to constitute protection against reproduction of the documents with which the strip will be associated, characterised in that the strip also comprises optically active elements in association with the generally metallised regions and/or the generally transparent regions of the strip to produce an optical effect on a scale identified as detail at the level of the document to be safeguarded, said optical effect making it possible to constitute a recognisable sign for identifying said document. The present invention finally concerns a security document incorporating a strip as set forth hereinbefore.

  • Patent number: 5787732
Abstract: A hosiery item such as tights formed from a pair of joined circularly by knitted tubes. In some areas such as the brief it has knitted regions having courses with curved angular ranges having stich heights. The front of the brief is characterized by high and medium compression stripes at least one of which cross over at its ends to form a ventral panel. same course outside these parts. See, for example, the area forming the briefs of the tights having at least one high compression strip, the ends of which cross over at the front and form a ventral panel.

  • Patent number: 5584130
Abstract: The invention pertains to an improved insole that combines insulating and therapeutic properties. The insole consists of a sandwich of several materials, namely a mesh that is adapted to rest on the bottom of some footwear, an aluminum foil whose shiny face is fixed with an adhesive onto the top face of the mesh. A polyethylene film laminated against the dull face of the aluminum foil also serves as the external face of an air bubble sandwich made out of one or two rows of air cells, separated from each other by a central polyethylene film, and covered by another polyethylene film. A second aluminum foil has its dull face laminated against a polyethylene film, and a mesh is then fixed on the shiny surface of the aluminum film with an adhesive. Finally, a resting strip for a foot is then fixed, by adhesive, to the top of the mesh.

  • Patent number: 4874188
Abstract: The present invention relates to the authentication of fiduciary or security objects, such as official documents, contracts, banknotes, credit cards and computer diskettes. The object to be authenticated is marked with a matrix composed of an organic resin of the vinyl or acrylic type, or any other similar resin, incorporating a series of sparkling doping materials and a series of photoluminescent doping materials with long-lasting remanence. This marking is carried out by coating, transfer of a film, printing, or integration of particles into the fiduciary material. The document marked in this manner can, in addition, be covered with a substance which is transparent in the visible spectrum going from UV to IR with the exception of a given wavelength band. The object marked in accordance with the invention has a first color in daylight, a second color when it is submitted to ultraviolet radiation and a third color from long-lasting when it is placed in darkness.
