  • Patent number: 11576039
Abstract: A customer premises node device can receive an authentication message from a fixed cellular communication device that operates according to a third-generation mobile network access standard (e.g., a 3G alarm panel). The customer premises node device can facilitate transmitting the authentication message, to a network node that operates according to a fourth-generation mobile network access standard. The authentication message can then be routed via mobile network components, including a network gateway device, to a home location registry device, which can authenticate the 3G fixed cellular communication device for communications on a 4G mobile network.

  • Patent number: 10033866
Abstract: A call routing platform system can be used to facilitate routing of a call to a mobile device and a real-time communication API enable device simultaneously. A mobile device number associated with a mobile device can be registered with a call routing service to facilitate call forking between the mobile device and the real-time communication API enabled device. The call routing platform system can comprise an IP multimedia system to facilitate the call forking.

  • Patent number: 8078167
Abstract: A mobility management analysis architecture for call management. Systems and methods are provided for routing of a landline-mobile and mobile-mobile call using a switching network (landline or mobile originating) to serve effectively as the “GMSC/tandem” switching layer for the mobile network, as well as for mobile-mobile calls using an originating switch. When a landline switch issues an local number portability (LNP) query, the response to the query can be intercepted by a preliminary mobility management platform that determines a location routing number (LRN) for a visited mobile switching center (V-MSC) to which a destination mobile handset is currently attached. The LRN for that V-MSC is returned in the LNP response to the switch, which then routes the call to the serving V-MSC based on the LRN. The V-MSC then performs the GMSC (gateway mobile switching center) functionality, for example, for that particular call.

  • Patent number: 6308070
Abstract: A method and apparatus for placing a long distance call using a mobile telephone with a data messaging device communicating via a separate data network (rather than the call signaling network) to a Remote Telephone Call Origination (RTCO) platform. The mobile telephone analyzes each number dialed to determine whether to utilize the RTCO platform or to dial normally. If RTCO is utilized, the mobile telephone transmits a data message with instructions for setting up the call. The RTCO platform then makes a call to the mobile phone and bridges this to a second call made to the dialed party.
