Abstract: This invention is directed to an interspinous distraction implant, which is intended to restrict the motion of the vertebrae between themselves, thus improving the mechanical behavior that is altered by the intervertebral disk diseases. The invention is composed of an O-shaped body, which is oval and laminar, and includes two flaps for the implant anchorage and two additional pairs of upper and lower flaps wherein the upper flaps are forward with regard to the lower ones, so that both of them bump simultaneously into the respective vertebral laminae, thus avoiding the rotation of the implant in the transversal axis and positioning its longitudinal axis parallel to the spinous apophysis.

Abstract: This invention consists in an implant to be placed between the lumbar spinous and lumbar-sacral apophysis in order to keep them separated and enable a normal flexion and extension range. The implant is a cuneiform body which frontal end is rounded and higher than the rear end thus forming an open angle towards the frontal part of the implant. It has two supporting surfaces, opposite to the spinous apophysis and having in its most rear end two sharp edges which are opposite to the spine and located transversally to the longitudinal axis of said faces, and wherein said supporting surfaces are confined by two rhomboidal surfaces which major axis is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the implant.

Abstract: An implant for vertebral replacement comprised by inner supports to the vertebral plates, vertebral separating means and vertical members for adjusting the implant to the corresponding vertebral faces, wherein the piece of the inner support implant emulates the shape of the cortical tissue area of the vertebral plate thereby forming a frame and leaving the spongy tissue area of the vertebral plate free.
