    Abstract: A road paver includes a height adjustable auger assembly. A support housing of the auger assembly is attached to the road paver via a quick coupling apparatus that facilitates height adjustment of the auger assembly. A plurality of sliding devices are inserted into a respective oblong hole, each oblong hole includes an expanded insertion portion and a vertically extending portion. Wherein the vertically extending portion facilitates height adjustment of the auger assembly. A method of coupling the auger assembly includes inserting the sliding devices into respective oblong holes and adjusting the height of the auger assembly by moving the sliding devices between the expanded insertion portion and the vertically extending portion of the oblong holes.
