    Abstract: A peristaltic pump includes a housing, an electric motor and a reduction gear contained in the housing, a head, and a printed circuit board. The reduction gear is configured to be driven by the electric motor. The head contains a tube having two accessible ends and a rotor provided with two or more squeezing elements configured to squeeze the tube. The head is configured to be removably coupled to the housing according to at least two different orientations with respect to the housing. The housing further contains one or more alignment plates for aligning the reduction gear. The alignment plates are coupled to the housing through a snap-fit connection means.
