Abstract: An adhesive-label and backing arrangement in which a tape which can be wound onto a core, has removably adhesively-bonded labels on at least one face or surface. The tape further includes an arrangement for reducing stresses exerted on the labels in a direction longitudinal to the tape when winding the tape around the core and/or when unwinding it. The arrangement can include one or more strips disposed on the tape. By reducing stresses that can be exerted onto the labels, defects, such as undesired movement of the labels on the strip, can be avoided.
