  • Patent number: 7356857
Abstract: A multiple output shower assembly is disclosed generally comprising a plurality of conduits in fluid communication with each other and at least three water output devices for discharging water from the assembly. The water output devices are located such that water is dischargeable from each of the water output devices without first flowing past any other output device in order to maintain pressure. In some embodiments, coupling mechanisms are provided to removably couple the conduits to each other and to a shower water source. In some embodiments, at least one restrictor is also provided to further equalize the pressure among the different water output devices.

  • Publication number: 20070095304
Abstract: A system for monitoring the environment of an animal is disclosed generally comprising a video acquisition device worn by the animal and a monitoring device with which a remotely located user can monitor the animal's environment. The video acquisition device includes a camera for acquiring video, a transmitter for wirelessly transmitting the video to the monitoring device, and a rotation device for stabilizing the viewpoint of the camera regardless of the position of the animal. In certain embodiments, the camera is connected to an animal collar via a mount that has a rotating portion such that the camera rotates. In some embodiments, the rotating portion has a counterweight affixed thereto such that the camera rotates when the angle of inclination of the camera changes.

  • Patent number: 7163313
Abstract: An illumination device is disclosed generally comprising a translucent housing with a plurality of light sources and a power source disposed therein. The light sources emit very high intensity light and are arranged such that light emanates from the housing omnidirectionally in order illuminate the entire surrounding area. In some embodiments, light emitting diodes of at least 3000 MCD and wide viewing angles are employed. In certain embodiments, a housing specifically adapted for easy power source replacement and disconnection of the power source is utilized.

  • Publication number: 20040239156
Abstract: A chair or chaise capable of emitting a misting spray over a user of the chair is disclosed. The hollow, tubular frame of the chair acts as a conduit for water, while a plurality of apertures along the frame emits a spray. A quick connect fitting facilitates easy connection to a standard garden hose, for portability. A flow diverter diverts water from the tubular frame to a flexible hose connected to a hand held spray head for selective spraying of the user. A seat cushion provides a comfortable, continuous seating surface over the frame. The chair may be pre-assembled or in a user assembled/disassembled kit form with error free construction assembly means incorporated into the system.

  • Patent number: 6813787
Abstract: A shower device made of lightweight, easily assembled parts that can be adapted to a water source for hand-held or stationary water delivery at varying heights of water distribution. This sort of water delivery device enables one with compromised height, e.g, a handicapped person, to enjoy the full extent of water delivery during a shower, as well as allowing multiple head shower capability in a single head installation. The shower system is a kit comprising parts that are coded in a particular fashion to provide error-free assembly instruction by sight (such as color, numbers, alphabet, etc.) or touch (i.e., Braille or other forms of tactile identification).

  • Patent number: 4825456
Abstract: An apparatus for interfacing a telephone system having a central processor and a plurality of telephone extension lines operatively connected to the central processor to at least one pager transmitter. For each pager transmitter there is an interface circuit which is connected to one of the telephone extension lines and to one of the pager transmitters. The interface circuit includes a ring signal detector to detect activation of the telephone extension line connected thereto and for providing an output indicative of the activation. The interface circuit further includes a pager transmitter activator responsive to the output of the detector means for activating one of the pager transmitters.
