  • Publication number: 20180228210
Abstract: A compact utility device, system, and method of use for and by smokers is disclosed. The compact utility device is configured to have at least two separate compartments formed in the case, and independent doors located at an end of the case to allow access to each of the separate compartments. The system further comprises certain tools including a removable grinder card, a “one-hitter” smoking tool, and a poker to clear the “one-hitter.” A separate full length door or opening is also included over the grinder card screen section to allow access to the grinder card, and when the grinder card is removed, access to the compartment holding the cleaned and ground tobacco. Further, the system may include separate, removable sub-compartments, for use to hold cleaned and ground tobacco or concentrates. The utility case may be manufactured from various thermoplastic materials including polycarbonate or polyvinyl chloride.

  • Patent number: 8469508
Abstract: An eyeglass frame system, comprising an eyeglass securing front frame portion; a pair of temple-contacting side members, each member having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end of each secured by a pivotal connection to a respective outermost portion of said front frame portion, said at least one of said side members having inner and outer vertical surfaces thereof, said pivotal connection effected at a first end of a male element of a bayonet clip, a second end thereof defining a plurality of projecting prongs. The system also includes female elements complemental to said male elements. Female elements are formed integrally with an inner surface at each proximal end of said temple-contacting side members. Said male and female members may be selectably engaged or disengaged from each other through the application of pressure on the male elements transversely to the axis of said temple-contacting members.

  • Patent number: 8317318
Abstract: A side arm for an eyeglass frame includes front frame having outer edges, each of the edges terminating in a vertical line parallel to a plane defined by the eyeglasses held within the front frame. The vertical line functions as a fulcrum for the release function. The system further includes a pair of axle journals, and a pair of male bayonet clips, each rotationally dependent at one end from axles within respective the journals of the eyeglass frame. Each of the temple pieces exhibit a forward end terminating in a vertical camming surface which contacts the fulcrum upon rotation of temple members. A pair of female bayonet clips are proportioned for complemental engagement of opposing male bayonet clips, the female clips formed integrally upon inner sides of each temple piece proximally to each of the male bayonet clips when the male clips are press-fitted into the female clips.

  • Publication number: 20120257159
Abstract: A side arm release system for an eyeglass frame includes front frame having outer edges, each of the edges terminating in a vertical line substantially parallel to a plane defined by the eyeglasses or the like held within the front frame. The vertical line functions as a fulcrum for the release function. The system further includes a pair of axle journals, one each of the journals of the pair integrally depending from the inner surface of each outer end of the front frame, the journal projecting in a direction generally normal to the plane of the eyeglasses held within the front frame. The journals are located proximally to the fulcrum within a dimension having a width of the forward-most ends of side arms. The system also includes a pair of male bayonet clips, each rotationally dependent at one end from axles within respective the journals of the eyeglass frame, and inwardly of the fulcrum in the direction of a nose bridge of the front frame.

  • Publication number: 20120075571
Abstract: An eyeglass frame system includes a lens frame, a planar side extension pivotally attached at opposite ends of the lens frame, and an integrated earpiece and temple frame, an end opposite to the earpiece portion including an elongate longitudinal channel complemental in cross-sectional geometry to that of the planar side pivotally attached to the lens frame. The temple and earpiece frame may be selectably inserted over the side extension.

  • Publication number: 20110256792
Abstract: A backpack and toy vehicle system includes a storage compartment, a trolley, and elements for selectable securement of the compartment in the trolley. The storage compartment includes a semi-rigid front, rear, and first and second lateral sidewalls. A flexible bottom base having edges in integral communication with opposing lower edges of all sidewalls; a top base of the storage compartment having one edge in integral flexible communication with the upper edge of one of the front, rear or lateral sidewalls of the compartment in which other edges of the top base are selectably securable to opposing edges of the front, rear and lateral sidewalls. The top base defines an object-interest of a child and is formed of a material of sufficient rigidity to support a child wishing to ride on after the elements of the system have been assembled. Also provided is a handle grip upon at least one of the sidewalls.
