    Abstract: An apparatus has an arrangement for an input unit which provides control data for an electrical apparatus such as a printer or a copier and the arrangement allows the input unit to be shifted between an idle position within a cabinet of the apparatus to an operating position which extends outside of the cabinet to allow access. The arrangement is inclined so that the movement from the idle to the operating position is in a downwardly inclined direction.
