  • Publication number: 20230330405
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to medical devices for facilitating introducing, removing, and/or exchanging an accessory and/or tool, such as a guidewire. In an embodiment, a catheter port for introducing an accessory may comprise a body comprising a proximal end, a distal end, a longitudinal axis extending therethrough, and a main channel extending along the longitudinal axis along a length of the body. The main channel may be substantially coaxial with a lumen of a catheter. An extension may extend from the body. The extension may comprise an accessory channel extending through the extension. The accessory channel may be in fluid communication with the main channel. The accessory channel may be configured to accept the accessory. A positive stop may be disposed along the accessory channel. The positive stop may be configured to abut a distal end of the accessory.

  • Publication number: 20220095899
Abstract: The present disclosure, in its various aspects, is directed to expandable guide devices, implementation methods, and related systems. In one example, an expandable guide device is configured to receive an instrument through an instrument lumen of the device. Each of a plurality of expandable members are disposed circumferentially about a body of the device that defines the instrument lumen, and each expandable member is configured to be independently transitionable between an expanded configuration and an unexpanded configuration.

  • Patent number: 9148411
Abstract: A Headend system including a encoder to encode input data yielding a plurality of data packets, each of the packets having a header and a payload, a post encoding processor to identify ones of the data packets having a payload with a suspected known plaintext, and modify at least some of the identified packets, and an encryption processor to encrypt at least some of the data packets yielding encrypted data packets. Related apparatus and methods are also described.

  • Patent number: 4468599
Abstract: A plug current regulator for a dc electric traction motor propelled vehicle, implemented using a microcomputer for controlling a time-ratio switching regulator, provides a substantially smooth electrical braking function by applying relatively short time duration current pulses to build up braking current, followed by a relatively long time duration in which current pulses are inhibited. Current regulation is provided by comparing motor current to a desired braking current and generating an update signal when actual current drops below desired current. Filtering is minimized by sampling motor current at a time interval occurring relatively long after a current pulse is supplied to the motor.

  • Patent number: 4427930
Abstract: A current regulator for a dc electric traction motor propelled vehicle, implemented using a microcomputer, incorporates an accelerator response characteristics of an accelerator in an internal combustion engine powered vehicle. The regulator uses a current feedback loop to regulate motor torque to the value called for by the accelerator. However, of the magnitude of voltage as a percentage of available source voltage required to generate the desired current exceeds the percentage displacement of the accelerator, the applied voltage is limited to the percent accelerator displacement.
