Abstract: An umbrella anchoring system securely anchors an umbrella to a table with a top surface, a bottom surface, and an umbrella recess extending through the table. The system includes a male piece and a female piece that clamp together to stabilize the umbrella pole. The male piece has a shaft portion that inserts into the umbrella recess from the top surface, a top plate that abuts the table's top surface, and a hollow interior sized for the umbrella pole. The female piece includes a shaft portion that aligns with the recess from the bottom surface, a bottom plate that abuts the table's bottom surface, and a hollow interior to receive the umbrella pole and the male shaft. When assembled, the system compresses the table surfaces between the top and bottom plates, creating a secure clamp to prevent umbrella movement or tipping.
