  • Publication number: 20040108956
Abstract: An improved antenna array characterized by the following features: having at least two columns running vertically (5; 5a, 5b), at least in one column (5; 5a, 5b) and preferably in all columns (5; 5a, 5b) at least two radiators or radiator groups (9) are arranged together in a vertical direction, for at least one column 5; 5a, 5b) having at least two radiators or radiator groups (9) vertically offset from one another, at least one additional radiator group (109; 109a, 109b) is provided, which is fed commonly with the radiators or radiator groups (9) provided in this column (5; 5a, 5b), and the additionally provided at least one radiator or radiator group (109′; 109a, 109b) for the column concerned (5; 5a, 5b) is arranged horizontally offset to the other radiators or radiator groups (9) provided in the column concerned (5; 5a, 5b).

  • Patent number: 6025812
Abstract: An antenna array for simultaneous reception or for simultaneous transmission of electromagnetic waves having two linear, orthogonal polarizations has a decoupling device (17) between adjacent radiating element modules (1). This decoupling device is provided between two radiating element modules (1) which are adjacent in the attachment direction (21). The improvement is for a decoupling structural element (17) to be provided between two adjacent radiating element modules (1), which decoupling structural element (17) extends at least with its longitudinal component in the attachment direction (21), this longitudinal component having a length which is greater than or equal to 25% of the radiating element module separation (25) between the centers or bases (23) of the corresponding adjacent radiating element modules (1).

  • Patent number: 5532707
Abstract: In order to create a directional antenna, in particular a dipole antenna, that is improved over the prior art, can be produced and is designed comparatively simply, and furthermore has further improved electrical properties, it is provided that the symmetrizer (7) is made from the material of the reflector (5), in that the symmetrizer (7) is cut from the remaining material of the reflector wall (5), except for a connecting segment (11), by suitable cuts and/or stamping operations, and preferably in the region of the immediate connecting point (11) with the remaining material of the reflector wall (5) is bent out relative to the plane of the reflector wall.
