  • Patent number: 11727666
Abstract: A image of a target is obtained and processed to find changes in the target which represent projectiles hitting the target, and that target is then scored.

  • Publication number: 20220237453
Abstract: A data processing system includes (i) a convolutional neural network trained on an input dataset, and (ii) a hierarchical temporal memory system. The convolutional neural network generates a plurality of extracted layers. The hierarchical temporal memory system generates an output dataset from the plurality of extracted layers generated by the convolutional neural network. The plurality of extracted layers can include a convolution layer that extracts data from the input dataset and/or a rectifier that introduces non-linearity to the convolutional neural network. The plurality of extracted layers can include a batch normalizer that normalizes the data from the input dataset and/or a dropout that increases sparsity and prevents overfitting of the convolutional neural network. The hierarchical temporal memory system can binarize the output dataset. The hierarchical temporal memory system can include a hierarchical temporal memory pattern classifier that classifies patterns within the output dataset.

  • Patent number: 10766051
Abstract: An apparatus for wetting one or more absorbent strips with a solution can comprise a solution tray and a dispenser tray, each comprising a base that defines opposing upper and lower surfaces and one or more openings and a sidewall extending away from the upper surface and disposed along a periphery of the base. One or more dispensers can each include a tube extending between first and second ends, the first end being coupled to the dispenser tray's base such that the tube is configured to receive solution from a respective one of the opening(s) of the dispenser tray. An applicator tray can be configured to receive the strip(s). The solution, dispenser, and applicator trays are positionable to permit solution to flow through the solution tray's opening(s) onto the dispenser tray's base, through the dispenser tray's opening(s) into the dispenser(s), and through the dispenser(s) onto the applicator tray.

  • Patent number: 10185985
Abstract: A user registers with a reverse procurement service. The user then searches an electronic marketplace, which is external to a remote procurement service and, subsequently, selects various items to be placed in a shopping cart or project. Upon checkout, the items are submitted for approval to the remote procurement service which is external to the reverse procurement service. The remote procurement service obtains approval and sends payment information to the reverse procurement service. Upon receive of payment information, the reverse procurement service then initiates a process for providing the approved items to the user.

  • Publication number: 20130330112
Abstract: “FORMULATION FOR PRODUCING A WRITING ARTICLE, PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A WRITING ARTICLE AND A WRITING ARTICLE”, wherein the formulation of said writing article can optionally comprise the following components (with a variation of ±2.5%): ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene, 37-50%), SAN (Styrene-Acrylonitrile, 14%), Graphite (35-42%), Calcium Stearate (5-10%), Stearin (8%), Talc (5-23%), Mineral Oil (2-3%), Polyethylene (1%), Bentonite (5-15%), Calcium Carbonate (1%). Said article (1) is defined as a single-piece object (2), which has an integral tip (3) that is produced by sharpening; the body of said single-piece object (2) is configured according to a profile standard, and may include multiple sides (4) giving said single-piece object an hexagonal appearance, or even only one encircling side (5), which gives said single-piece object a cylindrical appearance.

  • Publication number: 20100131016
Abstract: A system for performing a less invasive surgical procedure and, in particular, devices and methods for spinal fixation. The system comprises dilation tool(s), at least one working/insertion cannula, a plurality of screws, at least one fixation rod for connecting the screws, and a rod inserter. The dilation tool(s) may be used to dilate an incision made in a patient to form an opening. Thereafter, a drill may be used to form holes in the vertebrae. An insertion cannula may be attached to a screw and inserted into the opening. The screws may be polyaxial screws and may be inserted into the vertebrae using a screwdriver. An operator may then move the insertion cannula to manipulate a head portions of the screws such that the head portions may be aligned to receive a fixation rod. A rod inserter may be used to insert a fixation rod into the head portions. After the fixation rod is in place, it may be locked to the screws, thereby fixing the system in place on the spine.

  • Publication number: 20050026713
Abstract: A device for determining a neutral point on a golf club head. The device comprises a base. A calibration block is attached to the base. The calibration block comprises an index dial and the index dial comprises a neutral indicator. A head aligner is rotatably attached to the base opposite to the calibration block. The head aligner comprises a groove aligner and a sole plate. When the sole plate is in contact with a club sole of the golf club head and the groove aligner is aligned with a club groove of the golf club head the neutral point is aligned with the neutral indicator.

  • Patent number: 4040654
Abstract: Two arms of an articulated linkage are pivotally connected together. The distal end of one arm is connected at a pivot point to the side of the vehicle body, and the distal end of the other arm is connected to a tailgate pivot screw located on a linkage plate attached to the tailgate. When the arms are extended, the tailgate is held in a horizontal open position. As the tailgate is raised to the closed position, the connecting pivot point of the arms is moved downward, and a projecting guide tab on the linkage plate gathers the articulated linkage. A lock lever pivoted on the side of the vehicle has a slot to snap over the tailgate pivot screw of the tailgate, and is locked with a wing nut on the screw.
