Publication number: 20250005589Abstract: Incident data associated with an incident are obtained. A set of reportable criteria related to the incident are obtained. A subset of the reportable criteria described in the incident data are identified using one or more classifiers. A summarization request is transmitted to a language model. The summarization request includes the subset of the reportable criteria and the incident data. An incident status report received from the language model in response to the summarization request is transmitted to one or more users.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2023Publication date: January 2, 2025Inventors: Weiyu Max Li, Leeor Joseph Engel

Patent number: 12094012Abstract: A method and apparatus visualizing compensation adjustments for employees of organization. A computer system identifies a number of merit groups for a group of employees based on employee evaluation for employees in the group of employees. The computer system identifies a number of compensation adjustment parameters. The computer system applies the number of compensation adjustment parameters to a compensation distribution of the group of employees to determine a compensation adjustment for each merit group. The computer system determines impact of the compensation adjustment on the compensation distribution of the group of employees. The computer system displays the impact of the compensation adjustment in a compensation adjustment scenario.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2023Date of Patent: September 17, 2024Assignee: ADP, Inc.Inventors: Snigdha Ghosh Ray, Amit Kumar Sharma, Vinay Kanth Nadikuda, Prasad J. Patent number: 11764615Abstract: The technology provides for a wireless charger. The wireless charger may have a transmitter antenna array, one or more detectors, one or more sensors, and one or more processors. For instance, the processors may determine, based on signals from the detectors, that one or more receiver antennas are located within a near-field range of the transmitter antenna array. The processors may then control the transmitter antenna array to focus electromagnetic waves on a first receiver antenna of the one or more receiver antennas, and control the transmitter antenna array to transmit power to the first receiver antenna. In some instances, the processors may further determine, based on signals from the sensors, that a person is located within the near-field range of the transmitter antenna array. Based on this determination, the processors may control the transmitter antenna array to stop transmitting power to the first receiver antenna.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 2020Date of Patent: September 19, 2023Assignee: Google LLCInventors: Max Li-Hua Wang, Maryam Tabesh, Jiang Zhu

Patent number: 11601019Abstract: A hybrid RF-acoustic relay is provided where some but not all of the incident RF power is rectified to power the relay and, optionally, to provide power for further link features. The remaining fraction of the incident RF power is used to directly drive an acoustic transceiver array in communication with one or more acoustically powered nodes. In this manner, power, control and communication can be efficiently provided to acoustically powered nodes even in situations where an RF link or an acoustic link would perform poorly.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2018Date of Patent: March 7, 2023Assignee: The Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior UniversityInventors: Mohammad Amin Arbabian, Chun-Ming Ernest So, Jayant Charthad, Ting Chia Chang, Max Li-Hua Wang

Patent number: 11147702Abstract: An elbow brace for use by athletes or others requiring protection and support of the elbow. The elbow brace includes a base and a tension member. The base is comprised of elastic material and configured to closely fit around the elbow. A tension member having upper and lower pairs of tensioning straps is fastened to the interior surface of the base, with the tensioning straps extending through upper and lower apertures in the base for detachable attachment to the exterior surface of the base. The tension member may include an anchor portion made of material that stretches in multiple directions, and strap portions that stretch primarily lengthwise.Type: GrantFiled: October 25, 2017Date of Patent: October 19, 2021Assignee: Mueller Sports Medicine, Inc.Inventors: Brett Mueller, Zhaodong Max Li

Publication number: 20210012263Abstract: A computing system may define a predictive model that is configured to receive, for a given set of data variables, data values that are related to operation of an asset during an observation period, and based on the received data values, output a prediction of fuel consumption of the asset during the observation period, where the given set of data variables may include data variables from different categories of data variables. The computing system may then obtain a dataset that includes, for the given set of data variables, data values that are related to operation of a given asset during a given observation period, apply the predictive model to the obtained dataset, and perform an evaluation of whether any data variable in the given set of data variables presented a fuel savings opportunity for the given asset during the given observation period.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 8, 2019Publication date: January 14, 2021Inventors: Weiyu Max Li, Stephanie Kirmer, Brian Silva
