  • Publication number: 20220306332
Abstract: A cutting head for cutting a film wrapping from palletized stacks of products, having a cutting element for cutting through the film, where the cutting element is disposed between at least two opposing contact elements and is set back with respect to the film contact plane formed by the opposing contact elements in order to form a cutting recess, and having a vacuum unit to suck the region of the film wrapping to be cut locally into the cutting recess for interaction with the cutting element. A device having a corresponding cutting head further includes a pallet place for the arrangement of the pallet correspondingly wrapped with film, where the cutting head is disposed on a support arm that is configured to travel such that the cutting head remains in contact with the film via the two opposing contact elements during cutting.

  • Patent number: 5660831
Abstract: A method is described for obtaining an extract from the flowers of Salvia officinalis. The extraction process is performed preferably at a temperature of less than 50.degree. C. A preferred extraction agent is supercritical CO.sub.2. The extract thus obtained can be processed, if desired, with the addition of suitable thinners or fillers, in order to obtain a medicament. Medicaments containing the extract of Salvia officinalis flowers can be used to control high blood-pressure, circulatory problems and incomplete cicatrization of wounds.

  • Patent number: 5601296
Abstract: A toboggan comprises a sheet-like coilable gliding part of glidable material having a cross-bracing along its front region as viewed in the direction of gliding. A pair of support portions for the feet of a seated user of the toboggan is provided spaced from each other in the longitudianl direction of the cross-bracing. The cross-bracing and/or the foot support portions are provided with curved surfaces on the snow side similar to the curved front portion of a ski. The foot support portions are parts separately mountable on the cross-bracing swivable about the longitudinal axis thereof. In its rolled up condition the gliding part can be substantially accommodated in the cross-bracing.

  • Patent number: 4391140
Abstract: The invention relates to apparatus for sampling partial quantities from metering devices for granular or pulverized substances into the mixing vessels of plastics processing machines with a metering station having a vessel with a bottom plate and a rotatable metering disc disposed directly above the bottom plate and having apertures for receiving portions of the substance to be metered. A discharge aperture for the portions is disposed under a covering and is in alignment with an inlet aperture in the mixing vessel. In order to sample a portion in order to be able to weight it, the portion is intercepted after it has been separated from the body of the substance in the metering station and while it is being conveyed to the mixing vessel, without moving the mixing station away from the mixing vessel.

  • Patent number: 4103357
Abstract: A process and apparatus for mixing synthetic materials and complemental raw materials in a fixed ratio. The synthetic material is fed under the pressure of its own weight to a mixing vessel through a feed conduit having an opening arranged to feed below the top of the vessel. The opening of the conduit is also arranged such that synthetic material will only feed to the vessel when the materials therein fall below the level of the conduit opening. The complemental raw materials are fed over the top of the materials in the vessel at a mass rate of flow proportional to the mass rate of flow of the materials withdrawn from the bottom of the vessel. The synthetic materials are thereby also fed to the vessel in a fixed ratio to the mass rate of flow of the materials to be withdrawn.
