  • Patent number: 11942937
Abstract: Pulse-generator-based reciprocal quantum logic (RQL) bias-level sensors are fabricated on an RQL integrated circuit (IC) to sample AC or DC bias values provided to operational RQL circuitry on the RQL IC. The bias-level sensors include pulse generators having strengthened or weakened bias taps (transformer couplings to RQL AC clock resonators or DC bias lines) as compared to bias taps of Josephson transmission lines in the operational RQL circuitry, or Josephson junctions (JJs) with larger or smaller critical currents as compared to JJs in the operational RQL circuitry. Pulse generators with weakened bias taps or larger JJs can have lower limits of their operational ranges placed near an optimal bias point at the centroid of the operating region of the operational RQL circuitry. The bias-level sensors can be staged by relative strength to indicate whether a provided bias value is an improvement when varied over a range.

  • Patent number: 11690992
Abstract: A fluid connector, including a fluid path portion having an integral cannula extending in a first direction from a interior surface, and a latching portion secured to the fluid path portion and having a pair of displaceable arms. Each arm includes a connector latch disposed at a first cantilevered end of the arm, and an activation lever disposed at an opposite cantilevered end of the arm and extending in a second direction, not parallel to the first direction. A portion of the activation lever includes a first lateral tactile feature aligned substantially parallel to the first direction to prevent forward slippage of the fluid connector from a user's grasp in the second direction, and a portion of the activation lever includes a lateral tactile feature aligned substantially parallel to the second direction to prevent slippage of the fluid connector from a user's grasp in the first direction.

  • Publication number: 20230140662
Abstract: A cooking device including a cooking chamber comprising at least one cooking surface, a wood pellet burner positioned below the cooking chamber and configured to combust wood pellets and provide a first source of smoke, a wood pellet hopper configured to store a supply of wood pellets, an auger configured to feed wood pellets to the wood pellet burner, and a secondary solid fuel combustion unit removably inserted into the cooking device below the cooking chamber and configured to combust a second solid fuel and provide a second source of smoke.

  • Publication number: 20230073460
Abstract: A vertical smoker including an external housing, one or more sidewalls at least partially defining a cooking chamber within the external housing, a solid fuel combustion unit configured to combust solid fuel and produce smoke and heat, a drip tray disposed above the solid fuel combustion unit and forming a floor of the cooking chamber, the drip tray being configured to route the smoke and heat into at least one channel disposed between at least one sidewall in the one or more sidewalls and the external housing, and one or more apertures disposed in the at least one sidewall, the one or more apertures being configured to allow the smoke and heat to pass from the at least one channel into the cooking chamber.

  • Publication number: 20200171294
Abstract: A fluid connector for use with an infusion set. The fluid connector includes a housing having a cannula integral with and extending distally from a proximal interior surface of the housing. A proximal exterior surface of the housing has a flattened portion with a raised tactile feature centered about a longitudinal axis of the cannula to aid a user in connecting the fluid connector with an infusion set base.

  • Publication number: 20070150214
Abstract: An apparatus and method for compensating digital input delay in an intelligent electronic device is provided. A method is provided which provides for accurate SER data recording while facilitating the reduction of processing burden on the IED and optimization of system performance during the processing of SER data flow. An apparatus is further provided which generally includes a time delay element coupled to a sequential events recorder for compensating for delay in communication of a data signal such that the sequential events recorder records a compensated time for a select event based on the clock and the time delay. An apparatus is provided which includes an edge detection element for detecting either a rising or falling edge from the data signal.
