  • Publication number: 20200298804
Abstract: A sensor apparatus includes a cylindrical sensor window defining an axis, and a tubular annular member fixed relative to the sensor window and substantially centered around the axis. The annular member includes a plurality of first nozzles and second nozzles arranged in an alternating pattern around the annular member. The first nozzles each have a direction of discharge in a radially inward and axial direction forming a first angle with the axis. The second nozzles each have a direction of discharge in a radially inward and axial direction forming a second angle with the axis, and the second angle is different than the first angle.

  • Publication number: 20200031318
Abstract: A detection system (1) intended to equip a motor vehicle comprises at least one optical sensor (2) delimited by at least one curved optical surface (20). It also comprises at least one cleaning device (3) for cleaning the optical surface (20) that comprises a delivery ramp (4) for delivering at least one cleaning and/or drying fluid. According to the invention, the delivery ramp (4) has a curved shape, the curvature (C?) of which is substantially equal to the curvature (C) of at least a portion (201, 202) of the optical surface (20).

  • Publication number: 20190225194
Abstract: The invention concerns a detection system (1) intended to equip a motor vehicle. This detection system (1) comprises at least one optical sensor (2) delimited by at least one optical surface (20), the shape and orientation of which define a detection field (21) of the optical sensor (2), and at least one cleaning device (3) for cleaning this optical surface (20). The cleaning device (3) comprises a delivery ramp (4) for delivering at least one cleaning and/or drying fluid, said delivery ramp (4) being movable, relative to the optical surface (20), between a first so-called rest position in which it does not deliver any fluid and a second position. According to the invention, in each position of the movement of same between the first and second positions, the delivery ramp (4) is situated outside the detection field (21) of the optical sensor (2).

  • Publication number: 20180304862
Abstract: A telescopic cleaning device, for a glass surface to be cleaned of a motor vehicle, includes at least one hollow conveying body (5) for the cleaning fluid, closed at an upstream end by an inlet flange (12) and accommodating a movable piston (8) which is configured so as to slide in said hollow conveying body (5). The hollow conveying body (5) additionally accommodates a rod (14) which extends jutting out from the inlet flange and around which the movable piston is capable of sliding, the movable piston and/or the rod being configured so as to allow the fluid to flow between them from the inlet flange to the distribution element. The rod comprises a heating device (22), which comprises at least one heating element (24) extending in the interior of a heat conducting tube (26), along the axis of elongation (X) of the device.

  • Publication number: 20180304863
Abstract: A telescopic cleaning device is intended for projecting at least one cleaning and/or drying fluid onto a glass surface to be cleaned of a motor vehicle, such as an optical surface of an optical sensor of an optical detection system. The cleaning device includes at least one fluid distribution element, rendered movable, along an axis of elongation (X) and at the end of a movable piston between a retracted first position and an extended second position for cleaning and/or drying. The fluid distribution element comprises a distribution bar (4) inside which a fluid distribution channel (56) extends and the distribution bar is equipped with a heating device (60) integrated at least in part into the distribution bar in order to heat the fluid passing through said distribution channel.
