  • Patent number: 12062467
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for applying marking tubes onto cables including: a driving mechanism for a cable along a driving axis; at least one buffer pipe in a producing position aligned with the driving axis, the buffer pipe having dimensions adapted both for a cable to be marked to run through the buffer pipe and for a number of marking tubes to be threaded onto the buffer pipe; a pushing unit engaging and pushing along the driving axis at least one first out marking tube of the marking tubes threaded on the buffer pipe until this first out marking tube exits the buffer pipe and is released onto the cable. Also disclosed is a method for applying marking tubes onto cables using a buffer pipe. The cable is always driven in the same forward direction and there is no limitation of cable length or marking tube number or location.

  • Patent number: 8578977
Abstract: The invention relates to a gas filling and dispensing device that includes a body to be provided in the opening of a pressurized gas storage tank, a gas tapping circuit extending between a first upstream end to be connected to the inside of the tank and a second downstream end to be connected to a gas user, a filling duct having a first upstream end to be connected to the inside of the tank and a second downstream end to be connected to a filling member, said filling duct including at least one portion distinct from the tapping circuit, and the filling duct including a first valve, characterized in that the filling duct includes a second isolation valve arranged in series with the first valve.

  • Patent number: 8292144
Abstract: The pneumatic nailer has an elbowed feeder magazine for feeding fasteners one at a time. The magazine has an elongated inner frame segment fixedly mounted to the nailer main frame, an elongated outer frame segment operatively connected in non-coaxial fashion to the inner frame segment. Each of the inner and outer frame segments has a corresponding first and second channels, for slidingly retaining fasteners in coextensive slidethrough fashion. The fasteners are movable under gravity forces from a fastener intake to a fastener discharge outlet opposite the fastener intake. A fastener pusher device may be provided with a pusher retention device having an operative mode, active with a large storage load of fasteners into the magazine, and an inoperative mode, triggered when the load of magazine fasteners decreases below a threshold value.

  • Patent number: 7946464
Abstract: An actuator housing (20) for use on a pneumatic nailer (10), the actuator housing comprising a casing (22) defining a cartridge insertion opening (24), and a selectively activated actuator cartridge (50) which is inserted in the casing through the cartridge insertion opening. The actuator housing further comprises a releasable second fastening means (30, 69) which allows releasable extraction of the actuator cartridge from the casing. The actuator cartridge comprises an actuator head (54) for sealing engagement with the cartridge insertion opening of the casing and extending outwardly of the casing. The actuator cartridge also comprises a piston assembly (58) received within the casing, the piston assembly comprising a cylinder (100) defining a cylinder chamber (101) therein and a plunger (120) movably mounted within the cylinder chamber. The actuator cartridge further comprises first fastening means (71, 104) to fasten the actuator head to the cylinder of the piston assembly.
