    Abstract: A structural component connected to a structural element is provided. The structural component includes an extension extending in a longitudinal direction between a front end and a rear end, the rear end facing the structural element. The structural component also includes a stop element protruding from a longitudinal wall of the extension. The stop element has a contact surface facing a region of the structural element. When the extension is subject to an impact creating forces in the longitudinal direction, the contact surface comes into contact with the region and transmits a part of the forces created by the impact to the region.
