  • Publication number: 20180361074
Abstract: A dosing device includes a rod element and a shell. The rod element has a stem with a longitudinal axis and a first thread arrangement. The shell has a second thread arrangement. The first thread arrangement of the rod element or the second thread arrangement of the shell includes a thread. The first thread arrangement of the rod element and the second thread arrangement of the shell engage. The rod element is movable along the longitudinal axis of its stem by rotating the shell and the rod element relative to each other causing the first thread arrangement of the rod element and the second thread arrangement of the shell to travel along each other. A dosage chamber is formed by moving the rod element along the longitudinal axis of its stem. The volume of the dosage chamber is varied by moving the rod element along the longitudinal axis of its stem. An inclination angle (?, ?) of the thread varies along the thread.

  • Publication number: 20180244446
Abstract: An adapter includes a body piece with an open container end side and a dispenser end side opposite to the container end side, and a collar piece arranged around the body piece. The dispenser end side of the body piece has an orifice. The body piece has a longitudinal axis, a cylindrical outer surface, and a cylindrical inner surface with a container thread oriented towards the container end side. The cylindrical outer surface of the body piece is equipped with a cap thread oriented towards the dispenser end side. The cap thread is arranged to interact with an inner thread of the cap for providing a child resistant closure. A collar piece is connected to the body piece that is freely rotatable relative to the body piece around the longitudinal axis of the body piece. The adapter can be used for efficiently and safely connecting a dispenser to container.

  • Publication number: 20160293058
Abstract: The training device for medicine injection devices comprises a plunger (43) slidably arranged in the cavity of a body (2). The plunger comprises a compressible element (44) arranged at a distal end of the plunger (43) and adapted to provide a resistance between compressible element (44) and inner wall of the cavity of the body (2) when the plunger (43) is moved in the cavity towards the distal end of the body. The resistance corresponds to an injection resistance of a medicine injected into a patient. The invention also comprises a reset device for resetting the training device from a used status to a condition for reuse.

  • Patent number: 9446204
Abstract: The invention relates to a safety device for an injection syringe, the injection syringe including a body having an injection needle fitted thereon, the device including a plunger rod including a distal plunger part slidably movable in the body of the syringe, and a proximal triggering part, configured to trigger the displacement of a protection sheath, from an injection position, wherein the needle is uncovered, towards a safety position, wherein the needle is covered by the sheath. The proximal triggering part is able to move relative to the distal plunger part once the distal plunger part is at the distal end of its stroke, to trigger the displacement of the protection sheath.

  • Publication number: 20130303994
Abstract: The invention relates to an adapter which comprises a base having a container attachment portion on a first side and a needle hub attachment portion on a second side opposite the first side. The adapter includes a puncturing member extending along a first axis for entering a container inserted into the container attachment portion. The adapter includes a channel extending substantially along the first axis from the needle hub attachment portion, through the base and along the puncturing member to an axial outlet at, or adjacent, a tip of the puncturing member. The adapter is configured so that a needle comprising a shaft extending from a hub can be inserted into the adapter such that the hub engages the hub attachment portion and the shaft extends through the base and within the puncturing member.

  • Publication number: 20080093328
Abstract: A closure 10 for a container, comprises a substantially circular base 20, a skirt 30 extending from the periphery thereof, a bore seal 50 in the form of an annulus and a rib 70 lying on the surface of the base 20 in a substantially radial direction and in contact with the radially inner surface of the bore seal 50 at one end for transferring any movement of the centre of the base 20, relative to the skirt 30, to the bore seal 50 such that the bore seal 50 is pulled radially inward to allow venting of excess pressure within the container, wherein the end of the rib 70 in contact with the radially inner surface of the bore seal 50 is substantially thinner, in a plane parallel to the base 20, than the other end of the rib 70.

  • Publication number: 20070272649
Abstract: A plastic closure for a container is provided. The closure includes a top plate with a side skirt depending from the periphery thereof. A sealing strip depends from the top plate and is adapted to sealingly engage a container neck finish. The closure also comprises an abutment member including a guide surface for guiding the sealing strip towards the neck finish as the closure is applied, in increase to strength of the seal. The guide surface includes a guide member that projects from the abutment member, thereby minimizing friction between the strip and the abutment member. The sealing strip is inclined radially towards the neck finish to improve the sealing effect.
