  • Patent number: 11583720
Abstract: A self-spotting exercise apparatus is formed to include a pair of weight-bearing arms that are attached to a back frame assembly of the apparatus by a pair of double-hinge components. The double-hinge configuration provides a full range of motion for the weight-bearing arms with respect to the “fixed” apparatus itself. The opposing end terminations of the weight-bearing arms are configured to support weight plates (which may be changed out, as desired), with the weight-bearing arms also including a pair of handgrips for the user to hold as he/she moves the weight-bearing arms during an exercise routine. Self-spotting is provided by the use of a foot-activated motion bar, which is attached to a pair of vertical support posts that hold the distal ends of the extended arms when not in use.

  • Publication number: 20190254412
Abstract: A multi-component brush apparatus is described and can be used in the application of any fluid (for example, paint). The brush apparatus includes a cylindrical reservoir for holding a volume of a fluid material, a distributor attached to the cylindrical reservoir and used to transport the fluid from the reservoir along a set of small-sized tubes (pipes) disposed within the brush bristles. A piston is included and engages with the reservoir to advance the movement of the fluid material toward the distributor.

  • Patent number: 9321471
Abstract: A hand truck is designed to include three separate frame components: (1) a main component, which is defined as a conventional hand truck frame; (2) a pivoting frame component connected along one end termination of the main frame via a hinge (allowing for the pivoting frame to be raised with respect to the main frame component and create a platform at a raised elevation); and (3) a back frame component that is connected to a rear portion of the main frame and may be extended to allow for the frame to have a four-point (i.e., “four-wheeled”) configuration. A removable jack may be positioned between the back frame and the pivoting frame and used to raise/lower the pivoting frame.

  • Patent number: 9227165
Abstract: A cooking pot lid provides a continuously variable amount of venting (and stirring of ingredients, when desired) and includes a fixed lid component including a plurality of spaced-apart openings, a rotatable shaft disposed through a central aperture of the fixed lid component in a manner such that the rotatable shaft is free to rotate with respect to the fixed lid component; and a rotatable lid component that is attached to the rotatable shaft. The rotatable lid component includes a plurality of spaced-apart fins for alternately covering and exposing the plurality of spaced-apart openings in the fixed lid component to provide the continuously variable venting. Stirring blades may be attached to the rotatable shaft in a manner such that the stirring blades rotate with the shaft.

  • Publication number: 20100216610
Abstract: A weight training apparatus that simulates free weight lifting exercise. It allows the user to load regular Olympic plates to adjust weight resistance, and thereby eliminate the need to pick-up or replace a dumbbell set each time he wants to adjust the weight resistance. The apparatus comprises a cage like frame and a vertically adjustable table with arm extension supports with a series of handles and weight loadable pin attached to each arm. The arm extensions can swivel, rotate in a circular manner and independently to provide the feel of the unrestrained free motions many free weight lifters prefer when working with regular dumbbells or free weights.

  • Patent number: 7226400
Abstract: A weight bench apparatus for to allow a user to lift weights without a spotter. The weight bench apparatus includes a bench assembly being designed for being positioned on a support surface and for supporting the user. A pair of support assemblies is pivotally coupled to the bench assembly for supporting a weight training member being used by the user. A foot assembly is operationally coupled to the bench assembly. The foot assembly is operationally coupled to the support assemblies whereby the foot assembly pivots the support assemblies from a vertical position to a substantially horizontal position to allow the user to freely use the weight training member when the foot assembly is actuated by feet of the user. The support assemblies are designed for receiving the weight training member when the support assemblies are actuated by the foot assembly and pivoted back to a vertical position.
