Abstract: An anchor assembly for insertion in a panel aperture in a receiving panel has a flange. The flange has an engagement surface locatable on a first side of the receiving panel. A plurality of resilient arms project from the engagement surface and are insertable in the panel aperture. At least two of the plurality of resilient arms define a channel therebetween for receiving a threaded fastener. The channel is sized to limit inward deflection of the at least two of the plurality of resilient arms when the threaded fastener extends within the channel. A threaded surface is located in the flange and forms at least in part an anchor aperture for alignment with the panel aperture. The channel is aligned with the anchor aperture. The threaded surface is located between the plurality of resilient arms and is adapted for threadingly engaging the threaded fastener.

Abstract: A retractable anchor fixture for accessories is described. The retractable anchor fixture is adapted for being movably disposed in a surface aperture in a surface and includes a fixture body, a fixture base extending from the fixture body, the fixture base including a stopper portion adapted for abutting an edge of the surface aperture, a first aperture defined by the fixture body, the first aperture being adapted to receive therethrough a portion of an anchor for anchoring an accessory to the anchor fixture, and an anchor chamber defined by the fixture body and communicating with the first aperture. An anchor fixture system including a retractable anchor fixture is also described.

The top face defines at least a portion of a generally planar surface. The generally planar surface extends forward from a rear end of the deck. The personal watercraft also has a seat supported on the deck. The seat has a front seat portion and a rear seat portion. The rear seat portion is rearward of the front seat portion. The rear seat portion is removably connected to the deck. The rear platform extends between the rear end of the deck and the front seat portion. The generally planar surface extends to at least the front seat portion, and the rear seat portion is disposed on the top face of the rear platform when connected to the deck.

Abstract: A personal watercraft is disclosed having a straddle-type seat. The seat is pivotally connected to the deck via a pivotal connection and pivotable with respect to the deck between a raised position and a lowered position. The pivotal connection has first and second links. The seat is pivotally connected to the first and second links and is pivotable with respect thereto about respective first and second axes. The first and second axes are movable with respect to the deck. When the seat is in the raised position, the seat permits access to the engine via an aperture in the deck. When the seat is in the lowered position, the seat covers the aperture in the deck and prevents access to the engine.
