  • Patent number: 11890528
Abstract: A one-wheeled vehicle may comprise a board including first and second deck portions each configured to receive a left or right foot of a rider oriented generally perpendicular to a direction of travel of a board, and a pair of side rails, each of which are coupled to the first and second deck portions at distal ends. A top surface of each side rail defines a generally concave shape, such that a plane connecting distal edges of the end portions of the side rail is spaced apart from the central portion of the side rail. In some examples, a bottom surface of each side rail also defines a generally concave-upward shape. In some examples, a bottom surface of each side rail includes a central cutout.

  • Publication number: 20230381630
Abstract: A self-propelled, one-wheeled vehicle may include a suspension system configured to dampen up and down motion of a board relative to the axle of a central wheel assembly when the vehicle encounters obstacles and bumps on a riding surface. Illustrative suspension systems include a shock absorber, a rocker, a pushrod, bell cranks, and/or a swingarm that couple the axle to the board. The suspension system may be disposed completely below a foot deck of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20230369869
Abstract: An apparatus and methods are provided for a mobile charging station for simultaneously charging multiple electrically powered vehicles. The mobile charging station comprises a trailer housing rechargeable batteries and multiple fast-charge ports disposed on the trailer for servicing the electrically powered vehicles. The mobile charging station can be coupled to a truck and moved to any suitable location for charging the electrically powered vehicles. The onboard rechargeable batteries can be recharged with electrical energy from an electrical grid, a solar array, or by way of equipment stored onboard the trailer. Each fast-charge port includes a charging cable for routing electricity to an electrically powered vehicle to be recharged. A connector comprising each charging cable is configured to be plugged into a charging port of the electrically powered vehicle. Each charging cable is supported by an elastic cable mounted to the trailer above the charge port.

  • Publication number: 20220193289
Abstract: An apparatus and methods are provided for a remotely operable sanitation sprayer for quickly disinfecting large indoor spaces. The sanitation sprayer includes a body supported by drive wheels and one or more casters. The drive wheels are configured to rotate at different speeds to steer the sanitation sprayer. A boom comprising a generally elongate member is vertically coupled with the body. Nozzles disposed along the length of the boom are configured to disperse a disinfectant into the indoor space. The nozzles are of an electrostatic variety configured to electrostatically charge the disinfectant exiting the sanitation sprayer. The sanitation sprayer further includes electronic equipment for remotely operating the sanitation sprayer. A front of the sanitation sprayer may be equipped with one or more cameras and sensors that facilitate detecting nearby objects. The cameras and sensors may be configured provide a first-person view to a practitioner remotely operating the sanitation sprayer.
