  • Patent number: 11946952
Abstract: A measurement arrangement, including a current line, a first measurement location provided on the current line, a second measurement location provided on the current line, and a coolant, wherein the second measurement location is provided at a distance from the first measurement location in order to make it possible to measure a voltage in a measurement section of the current line arising due to a current flowing through the current line, wherein the measurement section is defined between the first measurement location and the second measurement location, and wherein the coolant is of fluid form and at least in areas is in direct contact with the current line in an area between the first measurement location and the second measurement location.

  • Patent number: 7431120
Abstract: A method for operating vehicles, with which the state of the driver's health is determined and a corresponding signal is sent, provides continuously activatable systems in the vehicle, and thus the physical state of the driver and the other passengers is positively influenced and/or any stress that arises is counteracted.

    Filed: August 11, 2006
Date of Patent: October 7, 2008
    Assignee: Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Dietger Pollehn, Maximilian Fuchs, Danny Borke
  • Patent number: 7224262
Abstract: A system and method is provided for wireless remote control of the operation of vehicle components such as a door lock or an entertainment system. An electronic host device, such as a PDA or a mobile telephone, is coupled to a vehicle-specific transponder, and a user interface program executed on the host device allows a user to select a desired vehicle component operating command for execution. The selected operating command is sent to the transponder for transmission to the vehicle, and a vehicle receiver forwards the selected command to the target component for execution. The transponder may contain vehicle-specific authorization information which the vehicle receiver may use to verify authorization to operate the vehicle. Additionally, information stored on the host device such as telephone numbers and addresses may be transferred via the transponder to vehicle components which may use such information for task such as navigation of initiating telephone calls.
