  • Patent number: 8075658
Abstract: A filter element has a zigzag-shaped fold pack of folds. At least one terminal element is folded parallel to the folds of the fold pack. The at least one terminal element has a first leg, a second leg, and a third leg. The first leg is arranged substantially perpendicularly to a flow direction of a medium flowing through the filter element. The first, second and third legs are delimited by folds of the at least one terminal element. The first and second legs are positioned substantially at a right angle relative to one another.
