  • Publication number: 20130104207
Abstract: A method of connecting a mobile station to a communications network is provided, and includes performing an authentication of the mobile station at the network. A secure identifier, generated at the mobile station, is received at a gateway node and at an access node from an authentication node of the network if it is determined by the authentication that the mobile station is a subscriber to the network. A first secure communications tunnel is established from the access node to the mobile station using a value of the secure identifier and a second secure communications tunnel is established from the access node to the gateway node of the network using the value of the secure identifier. The first and second communications tunnels are bound together to form a communications path between the mobile station and the network.

  • Publication number: 20090177796
Abstract: A method and a device divert messages of a terminal, in particular, a mobile terminal from a first network provider connected to an access network by a gateway node of a second network provider. Network access identifiers are provided in the exchanged messages, made up of a character string for identifying the terminal and a character string for addressing a server of the network provider. The network access identifier is reformatted in the method such that the messages are not firstly transmitted to the server of the first network provider but rather to the server of the second network provider. After analysis of the data contained in the messages, the messages are then forwarded to the server of the first network provider after reverse formatting of the network access identifier.

  • Patent number: 7522907
Abstract: A first network is structured according to a first technology, especially a data network, comprising one or several network devices and/or interfaces, which are configured to establish communication with at least one station using the first technology and have basic functions for autonomous operation of the first network. In order to be able to collect subscriber-related data from a data source outside the network, especially a second network structured according to a second technology, more particularly a cellular mobile telephone network, when a subscriber who is not registered in the first network is connected, one of the two networks generically enables logical functions of components of the other network. A network facility enables the implementation of the above-mentioned method.

  • Patent number: 5619267
Abstract: A video decoder including a control unit (CC), a picture memory (P) and a loop filter (F) for blockwise decoding of coded video pictures (q). The blockwise decoding generally leads to artefacts in the display of the decoded video pictures on a monitor (M), which artefacts can be substantially suppressed by filters arranged downstream of the decoder. A similarly substantial suppression of the artefacts with a small extension of the number of components is characterized by means with which the control unit (CC) is enabled, in the decoding intervals,(a) to read predetermined pixel data of a decoded video picture from the picture memory (P) and to apply them to the loop filter (F) for the purpose of filtering,(b) to select the predetermined pixel data in such a way that the filtering operation is performed beyond the block edges of the blocks provided for decoding. The measures described are compatible with a decoder as defined in the H.261 Recommendation.

  • Patent number: 5440618
Abstract: In a system for checking the access to data of a data unit (T10, T20, T30), the data unit is connected to a public network (V2) and is capable of exchanging data with a second subscriber (T4) over this network. In order that an authorized subscriber has access to the data of the data unit even without a secret telephone number, an adapter (T15, T25, T35) is allocated to the data unit (T10, T20, T30), which adapter can be dialled over a secured network (V1). The adapter (T15, T25, T35) is arranged in such a way that, in response to being dialled over the secured network (V1), the adapter causes the data unit (T10, T20, T30) to dial the second subscriber (T4) whose telephone number is stored in a memory (T11, T21, T31) allocated to data unit.

  • Patent number: 5027204
Abstract: The described memory is intended for video signals whose picture information is partitioned into fields and in which the information of the fields is arranged in lines. Separate field information components may be absent in the video signals to be stored. When fields are read from this store, they should be separated from one another by a vertical blanking interval. To avoid an elaborate write-read control for the memory and to simultaneously provide the possibility of connecting an interpolation circuit (IP) to it, with which the proximity values for the omitted fields are gained, a series arrangement of three shift registers (SR1, l SR2, SR3) is provided. A counter (ZW) generates and counts the shift pulses for the shift registers (SR1, SR2, SR3). Either the data of an incoming field (E1) or the data (E3) of the field stored in the third shift register (SR3) are applied to the first shift register (SR1) via a first controllable switch (U1).

  • Patent number: 5003393
Abstract: The described control signal generator for processing a video signal is characterized by an addressable memory (PR1) whose addresses are associated with equally long time intervals of a video picture. The binary coded amplitude is stored at an address of the memory (PR1), which amplitude is to be assumed by the control signal (SS) generated by the control signal generator in the associated time interval. A counting unit (Z) which is clocked by a counter clock pulse (T) successively generates the addresses corresponding to consecutive time intervals of a video picture and being applied to the address inputs of the addressable memory (PR1). The frequency of the counter clock pulse (T) is chosen to be such that all addresses associated with a video picture are traversed during the time length of a video picture.

  • Patent number: 4922344
Abstract: A circuit arrangement for evaluating a video synchronizing signal formed by line synchronizing pulses whose regular sequence between two fields is interrupted by a field synchronizing pulse and the time interval between the edges of a field synchronizing signal and the edges of a subsequent first line synchronizing pulse is characteristic of each field. In the circuit arrangement the evaluation of the video synchronizing signal is based on a field synchronizing pulse and the line synchronizing pulses subsequent thereto. This evaluation is effected by a detector, which detects the field synchronizing pulses in the video synchronizing signal.
