  • Publication number: 20240158325
Abstract: A process for recovering isoprenol essentially free of formaldehyde from a stream of crude isoprenol containing isoprenol, water and formaldehyde, the process comprising subjecting the stream of crude isoprenol or an isoprenol containing fraction thereof to distillation in a low-boiler separation tower operated at a pressure of 2.5 bara or higher to obtain a distillate stream containing aqueous formaldehyde and a bottoms stream containing isoprenol. The process of the invention allows for obtaining isoprenol essentially free of formaldehyde. Further provided is a plant for recovering isoprenol essentially free of formaldehyde from a stream of crude isoprenol containing isoprenol, water and formaldehyde, the plant comprising a first low-boiler separation tower, a second low-boiler separation tower, and a finishing tower.

  • Patent number: 11970594
Abstract: Polybutylene terephthalate can be used as a gas diffusion barrier for closed-cell rigid polyurethane foams. A thermal insulation element containing a closed-cell, rigid polyurethane foam, which is at least partially covered by a layer system containing at least one layer formed by a polybutylene terephthalate composition, is useful. Articles and devices may contain a corresponding thermal insulation structure, such as refrigerators, insulation panels, pipe insulations, water heaters, and thermally insulated transport boxes.

  • Publication number: 20240109418
Abstract: Technologies and techniques for operating an operating device for a motor vehicle, in which a first touchscreen user input is received, characterizing a selection of a selection level, wherein a first selection level provides different adjustable driving modes as list participants, and a second selection level provides different adjustable ambience modes as list participants, one arranged by turning a ring element which circumferentially encloses the screen device, a second user input represented about an axis of rotation is received, which characterizes a selection of a list participant from a plurality of list participants in the chosen selection level. Depending on the first user input and/or the second user input, a control signal is provided characterizing a driving mode to be set and/or an ambience mode to be set in which a display of the driving mode and/or the ambience mode is triggered using the screen device.

  • Patent number: 11104536
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for introducing a material web into a corrugating device having a corrugating roller for generating from the material web a corrugated web. The method comprises the step of attaching at least one double-sided adhesive tape piece which has a first adhesive face and a second adhesive face that is opposite the first adhesive face to the material web by means of the first adhesive face upstream of the corrugating device of the material web, and guiding the material web through the corrugating device in such a manner that the second adhesive face adheres to the rotating corrugating roller while entraining the material web for introducing the material web.

  • Publication number: 20130234508
Abstract: A device and a method of using the device in an electric drive system, particularly in a hybrid drive system of a motor vehicle. The device has at least a first and second battery system, connected in parallel, where their load outputs are connect to a common load output. Each battery system has an energy storage and a pre-charging circuit which is linked to it such that, by way of an output of the pre-charging circuit, the load output of the battery systems is created. The load output of each battery system can be connected or disconnected by way of the pre-charging circuit at the common load output. The common load output is energetically linked directly to an input of an inverter of the device by way of an intermediate circuit capacitor.
