    Abstract: A storage housing for an electrical energy store of a motor vehicle includes at least one housing part having a circumferential sealing flange, at which the housing part can be connected to at least one additional housing part of the storage housing, The one housing part is formed by a steel frame which is connected to a closing part made of a light metal material, in particular an aluminum material. In order to create a housing part which is optimized in terms of its weight and also in terms of simplicity and sealing, it is provided that the steel frame is designed as a single-piece shaped component made of a steel material.
