  • Patent number: 8716632
Abstract: A scent bowl may include a base having an external concave base surface and at least one sidewall extending from the base. A majority of the base and the at least one sidewall may be formed of ceramic material. A system for scenting the air in a room with scent from a scent bowl may include a scent bowl warmer configured to generate heat at a first temperature and a detachable and separate scent bowl including a base having an external concave base surface and at least one sidewall extending from the base and a scent emitter therein, the scent emitter having a fragrance and a second temperature at which the fragrance evaporates. The first temperature is high enough to evaporate at least a portion of the fragrance from the scent emitter in the bowl in less than three hours.

  • Patent number: 8364028
Abstract: A scent pod for scenting the air and methods of use. A scent pod comprises a container having a base and at least one sidewall, wherein a majority of the base and the at least one sidewall is formed of plastic having a thickness of at least 0.1 millimeters. A scented wax inside the container comprises a fragrance and a first temperature at which the scented wax liquefies and evaporates fragrance. The scent pod warmer generates heat at a second temperature hot enough to completely liquefy the scented wax in less than three hours, and the plastic for the container comprising a plastic having a heat deflection temperature high enough to withstand the heat generated by the scent pod warmer without deforming.

  • Patent number: 6730137
Abstract: A candle composition has a paraffin wax mixture of a high melting point paraffin wax and a low melting point paraffin wax, and a hydrogenated vegetable oil that is present in a greater amount than the mixture of the varying grades of paraffin wax, and the vegetable oil contains no more than 0.15% free fatty acid, with the remainder being triglycerides. Candles of the composition have good burn characteristics, particularly good fragrance intensity and produce a unique crystallization effect after the first burn.

  • Patent number: 6391398
Abstract: An artificial fragrance emitting flower article has at least one artificial flower having a stem. A vessel has an open top defined by a rim and an interior chamber defined by an inside surface of the vessel. A base having a top surface is mounted within the interior chamber of the vessel. The stem of the artificial flower is partially encased in the base. A fragrant gel layer is positioned on the top surface of the base to emit fragrance through the open top of the vessel.

  • Publication number: 20010051234
Abstract: A fragrant artificial flower display has one or more artificial flowers extending out of the interior of a vessel and one or more fragrant gel-coated rods connected to the stems of the flowers by a clip. The clips support the rods above the bottom of the vessel so that they are closer to the open top of the vessel to better release fragrance into the surrounding air, even when the vessel is tall and the rods are short.
