  • Publication number: 20250172621
Abstract: A battery pack configured to supply power to a common load includes at least one battery having a high side battery interface and a low side battery interface. The high side and low side battery interfaces are electrically coupled to the common load. The battery pack further includes a voltage detection circuit assembly configured to perform a plurality of operations, including but not limited to determining whether to implement a hardware trigger on only the high side battery interface by referencing ground of the low side battery interface, detecting a load type of the common load based on whether the high side battery interface is triggered, sending a notification to the high side battery interface and the low side battery interface as to whether the high side battery interface is triggered, and in response to sending the notification, determining whether to allow firmware to operate the common load.

  • Patent number: 11772245
Abstract: An impact tool includes a housing having a motor housing portion and an impact housing portion, an electric motor supported in the motor housing, a battery pack supported by the housing for providing power to the motor; and a drive assembly supported by the impact housing portion. The drive assembly includes an anvil extending from the impact housing portion, a hammer that is both rotationally and axially movable relative to the anvil for imparting consecutive rotational impacts upon the anvil, and a spring for biasing the hammer in an axial direction toward the anvil. The impact tool further includes a boot covering the impact housing portion, a front retainer arranged on the boot, a plurality of lenses in the front retainer, a plurality of LEDs respectively arranged within one of the lenses, and a rear retainer arranged between the boot and the impact housing portion.
