In other embodiments, the lighting units can be easily daisy-chained together to provide increased lighting. Additionally, in further embodiments, lighting units described herein can be operably connected to a garage door opening system so that they operate in conjunction with the door opening system.

    Abstract: Track guards for use with overhead doors at loading docks, residential locations, and other facilities are described herein. In some embodiments, the track guards described herein can be two-part assemblies having a first part (e.g., a base member) that mounts directly to a door jamb, and a second part (e.g., an outer member or cap) that can be adjustably positioned relative to a door guide rail and then fixedly attached to the base member. In some embodiments, the outer member can include recesses or pockets, elongate edge features, and/or other shapes that are configured to clip onto or otherwise cover a portion of the guide rail to provide support and/or prevent, or at least reduce the likelihood of, damage from operational loads and/or impacts to the guide rail.
