    Abstract: A ground-anchored umbrella stand comprises a base unit which is to be anchored in the ground and includes a soil sleeve extending into the soil. A pole mounting unit, in which the pole is inserted, is fastened to the base unit so as to be able to tilt relative to the base unit in all directions in space. An adjustment and locking mechanism between the base unit and the pole mounting unit allows tilting and aligning the pole mounting unit in all directions.
