  • Publication number: 20230388881
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and a method for connection management. The method includes establishing, by a UE, a connection with a 5G cell. The established connection with the 5G cell is in a current tracking area of a 5G New Radio (NR). Further, the method includes determining, by the UE, one or more Long-Term Evolution (LTE) cells in the current tracking area or registration area that are not accessible to the UE (300). The one or more LTE cells are configured to operate on an LTE frequency. Furthermore, the method includes temporarily deprioritising or disabling, by the UE, a Stand Alone (SA) mode based on the determination of the one or more LTE cells in the current tracking area or the registration area that are not accessible to the UE.

  • Patent number: 9228505
Abstract: A dual fuel injector utilizes first and second control valves to open and close first and second nozzle outlet sets to inject a first fuel and a second fuel, respectively. The first and second control valves have concentric lines of action. The two fuels may differ in at least one of chemical identity, matter phase and pressure.

  • Patent number: 9212639
Abstract: A dual fuel injector utilizes first and second control valves to open and close first and second nozzle outlet sets to inject a first fuel and a second fuel, respectively. The first and second control valves have concentric lines of action, and include a self alignment feature with respect to a flat seat. The two fuels may differ in at least one of chemical identity, matter phase and pressure.

  • Patent number: 8997720
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a fuel circuit of a fuel injector that includes a first channel, a second channel, and a valve. The first channel is configured to receive a first fuel and define a flow path for the first fuel. The second channel is configured to receive a second fuel and define a flow path for the second fuel. The valve is in fluid communication with the first channel and the second channel. The valve is adapted to direct the second fuel to the first channel when a pressure in the first channel reaches a predetermined level.

  • Patent number: 8839763
Abstract: A compression ignition dual fuel engine utilizes individual fuel injectors to inject both gaseous and liquid fuels into each engine cylinder. Each of the fuel injectors includes two electrical actuators that control pressure in a respective liquid control chamber and gaseous control chamber to control the opening movement of check valves to facilitate liquid and gaseous fuel injection events, respectfully. The control fluid for liquid injection events is liquid, whereas the control fluid for the gaseous injection event is gaseous. The used liquid fuel drained from each fuel injector is returned for recirculation and subsequent injection, whereas the used gaseous fuel that drains from the fuel injector is supplied to the intake manifold for burning as circumstances permit.
