    Abstract: Latex polymers and processes for producing the polymers are disclosed which can have enhanced surface tack over green cementitious substrates, i.e., those which are not fully cured, and other high pH substrates, while maintaining high levels of adhesion and tack. The latex polymers are polymerized from reduced amounts of carboxyl monomers, or no carboxyl monomers in the presence of a crosslinking agent.
