    Abstract: There are techniques described to determine connectivity of a speaker. An amplifier is driven in a predefined manner. A change in power delivered to a power input of the amplifier (or an electrical apparatus in which the amplifier is incorporated) as a result of the predefined driving is sensed. A value indicative of a state of connection of one or more speakers to an output of the amplifier is determined, based on the sensed change in power.
