  • Patent number: 11273108
Abstract: An elastomer improves the feel of inorganic powder on the skin. An emulsion cosmetic is characterized by containing: (A) 0.5-20 mass % of an inorganic powder having an elastomer coating layer containing (a1) and (a2); and (B) 20-80 mass % of an oil component. The elastomer is characterized by comprising: (a1) a silicone polymer having an amino group; and (a2) a carboxyl group-containing silicone polymer or a carboxyl group-containing acrylic polymer, wherein the molar ratio of the amino group to the carboxyl group, Y/X is in the range of 0.1-1.2 (Y is the molar amount of the carboxyl group contained in the component (a2), and X is the molar amount of the amino group contained in the component (a1)).

  • Patent number: 11179300
Abstract: An emulsion cosmetic maintains a concealing ability, allows light in a long wavelength region to transmit efficiently (i.e., an excellent red light selective transmit function), is spread easily, wherein a powder likeness cannot be felt upon use, and provides a natural finish when applied onto the skin. A titanium dioxide powder therefore is composed of particles having an apparent average particle diameter of 100 nm or more and less than 500 nm, an average crystallite diameter of 15 to 30 nm as measured by a X-ray diffraction method and a specific surface area of 10 to 30 m2/g, and each has a shape with radially projected needle-like projections are coagulated, and has a ratio of a longer axis to a shorter axis (i.e., a (longer axis)/(shorter axis) ratio) in the shape of 1.0 to 2.5. The emulsion cosmetic contains 0.1 to 25% by mass of the titanium dioxide powder, 0.1 to 5% by mass of disteardimonium hectorite and 0.1 to 8% by mass of a silicone surfactant.

  • Publication number: 20200222290
Abstract: The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a water-in-oil-type solid cosmetic which contains an ultraviolet ray absorber, can be solidified with a wax, rarely undergoes a sweating phenomenon, and has excellent sensation upon use. A water-in-oil-type solid cosmetic is capable of being solidified with a wax, the solid cosmetic contains a continuous-phase oil that contains an organic modified silicone and can form a continuous oily phase, a wax that is compatible with the continuous-phase oil, an ultraviolet ray absorber and an aqueous phase, wherein oily phase droplets each contain the ultraviolet ray absorber and aqueous phase droplets are dispersed separately in the continuous phase oil having the wax dissolved therein.
