  • Publication number: 20240001273
Abstract: A filter device 2 is provided with: a filter body 3 equipped with a filtering material 30; and a mesh-like filter cover 5 that is mounted to the filter body 3 in such a manner as to cover at least part of a filtering surface 32 of the filtering material 30. The filter cover 5 is provided with: a purification part 50 which includes multiple layers formed by folding a single sheet of metal mesh material and which has a rectangular shape that is substantially identical to that of the filtering surface 32 in a plan view; and a first leg 51 and a second leg 52 which intersect with the purification part 50 in a side view. The metal mesh material has a finely corrugated surface formed thereon. The entire outer peripheral edge 59 of the filter cover 5 is completely fitted within the filtering surface 32.

  • Publication number: 20230345945
Abstract: A functional material has a metal substrate and exhibits at least one of the following: an antimold action, an antimicrobial action, and an antiviral action. The functional material is provided with: a metal substrate produced by forming a zinc layer on the surface of an aluminum substrate; and a functional film that is a zinc phosphate film formed on the surface of the metal substrate. A micron-order unevenness is formed on the surface of the functional film, as a result of which the functional film has at least one of the following: an antimold action that prevents the proliferation of mold, an antimicrobial action that kills microorganisms, and an antiviral action that inactivates viruses. The functional material is produced by carrying out a zinc phosphate chemical conversion treatment on the surface of an aluminum substrate and forming on this surface a zinc phosphate film having micron-order unevenness.

  • Publication number: 20230148232
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a functional material which is prepared by using aluminum as a base material and has a bactericidal effect; and a method for producing the functional material. The functional material comprises an aluminum base material and a functional film which is a hydrated aluminum oxide film formed on the surface of the aluminum base material. The functional film has nano-order depressions and protrusions formed on the surface thereof and, as a result, the functional film can have a bactericidal effect to kill bacteria. The functional material is produced by subjecting an aluminum base material to a boiling treatment in boiled water for a predetermined treatment time to form, on the surface of the aluminum base material, a hydrated aluminum oxide film having nano-order depressions and protrusions formed on the surface thereof.

  • Patent number: 10305118
Abstract: First, a passive film is removed from a surface of a separator sheet. For example, the separator sheet may be immersed in an acidic liquid to remove the passive film. Then, the separator sheet is washed with water, taken out from the water, and heated. After the heating, the separator sheet is subjected to an electrolytic treatment to obtain a separator for a fuel cell. The resultant separator has a seal forming portion, and the outermost surface of the seal forming portion contains, based on 100% by weight of the total of a Cr oxide, an Mo oxide, an Fe oxide, Fe, and Ni, 5% by weight or less of the sum of the Fe and Ni and 60% by weight or more of the Cr oxide.
