Abstract: A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, a front axle assembly coupled to the chassis, a rear axle assembly coupled to the chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a body assembly coupled to the chassis, and a fender assembly. The front axle assembly includes a front axle and front tractive elements coupled to the front axle. The rear axle assembly includes a rear axle and rear tractive elements coupled to the rear axle. The body assembly includes a bottom panel with longitudinal frame members extending along opposing lateral sides of the bottom panel. The fender assembly includes a fender positioned proximate a respective one of the rear tractive elements, a support coupled to the bottom panel and/or a respective one of the longitudinal frame members of the body assembly, and a bracket extending from the support to the fender to couple the fender to the body assembly.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a chassis, a body coupled to the chassis and having a front surface, the body defining a recess positioned along the front surface and extending rearward from the front surface, a port coupled to the body and positioned within the recess, and a door movably coupled to the body and selectively repositionable between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position, the door extends across the recess and obstructs access to the port. In the open positon, the door permits access to the port.

Abstract: A vehicle including a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, the cab having a front face, a body coupled to the chassis, and a shroud coupled to the cab such that an internal volume is defined between the cab and the shroud, the shroud at least partially defining: a first inlet positioned along a front side of the shroud and in fluid communication with the internal volume, and a second inlet arranged such that airflow along the front face of the cab enters the internal volume through the second inlet.

Abstract: A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a body coupled to the chassis and spaced from the cab such that a gap is positioned therebetween, and a transition door assembly positioned across the gap. The transition door assembly includes a support structure, a door panel, a hinge, a latch, and a latch actuator. The support structure is coupled to the body. The support structure includes a cantilevered arm having a latch retainer positioned or defined therealong. The door panel has a rear edge and a front edge. The hinge pivotably couples the rear edge of the door panel to the body. The latch is disposed along the door panel and positioned to engage with the latch retainer to selectively secure the door panel in a closed orientation. The latch actuator is configured to facilitate disengaging the latch from the latch retainer.
