  • Patent number: 11784922
Abstract: A method for offloading multicast replication from multiple tiers of edge nodes implemented by multiple host machines to a physical switch is provided. Each of the multiple host machines implements a provider edge node and a tenant edge node. One host machine among the multiple host machines receives a packet having an overlay multicast group identifier. The host machine maps the overlay multicast group identifier to an underlay multicast group identifier. The host machine encapsulates the packet with an encapsulation header that includes the underlay multicast group identifier to create an encapsulated packet. The host machine forwards the encapsulated packet to a physical switch of the network segment. The physical switch forwards copies of the encapsulated packet to tenant edge nodes at one or more ports that are determined to be interested in the underlay multicast group identifier.

  • Publication number: 20230281387
Abstract: A method and system for handling unlabeled interaction data with contextual understanding are disclosed. In some embodiments, the method includes receiving the interaction data describing agent-consumer interactions associated with a contact center. The method includes analyzing the interaction data to identify a plurality of features. The method includes automatically performing taxonomy driven classification on the plurality of features to generate a first set of labels associated with the interaction data. The method includes training a deep learning model using the first set of labels and the interaction data to determine a second set of labels. The method then includes intelligently combining the first and second sets of labels to obtain a combined set of labels associated with the interaction data.

  • Patent number: 11611666
Abstract: A method for implementing user defined policies in a communication network. In one aspect, a policy function (e.g., an online charging system (OCS)) receives a policy information request having a subscription identifier, SID, identifying a subscription where a set of two or more policies are linked to the SID, and one of the policies included in the set of policies is set as an active policy for the subscription, and where each policy is associated with a different user identifier, UID. The policy function determines the policy that is set as the active policy for the subscription identified by the SID included in the policy information request. Using the determined UID, the policy function obtains and transmits the active policy.

  • Publication number: 20230078800
Abstract: Traditional machine learning model development requires significant domain knowledge and time to produce and compare models. The present disclosure provides techniques for performing automated machine learning using a conversational interface. A dataset is identified based on a user selection. A machine learning problem type and an analysis type are determined based on user input provided to the conversational interface. Machine learning algorithms are determined based on the dataset, the machine learning problem type, and the analysis type. A routing slip specifying a sequence of processing steps is generated for each of the machine learning algorithms based on the dataset, problem type, and analysis type. The sequence of processing steps in the routing slip are performed for each of the machine learning algorithms. An accuracy score is determined for each of the machine learning models generated. The accuracy scores are presented to the user via the conversational interface.

  • Publication number: 20220417113
Abstract: A method for providing performance guarantees for using microservices in a cloud-native architecture is provided. A network service controller specifies a set of performance characteristics for a particular service that is accessible by a network. The network service controller identifies a particular path in the network for the particular service having a performance guarantee that meets the specified set of performance characteristics. The network service controller configures a host machine running virtualization software with forwarding information for the particular path. The forwarding information is used to tag the packet with a list of transit nodes associated with the particular path when a packet is to be forwarded for the particular service.
