    Abstract: An endosseous dental implant comprises in combination a conical foundation member to be inserted into an alveole of the jaw bone or into a hole bored therein. The foundation member has a longitudinal bore open at top and having an interior saw thread at its upper part. A second member adapted to carry an artificial dental element and having a threaded shank is inserted and screwed into the bore of the conical member. Shock absorbing means are provided at the interface of the two elements.
