Abstract: A method for detecting defects in battery cells includes receiving an X-Ray radiographic image of a battery cell and segmenting the X-Ray radiographic image into regions of interest using a classifier. The method includes processing the segmented X-Ray radiographic image using the classifier to identify features of the battery cell, detecting whether one or more of the features in the processed X-Ray radiographic image is defective using the classifier, and determining using the classifier whether the battery cell is defective based on whether one or more of the features in the processed X-Ray radiographic image is defective.

Abstract: A method of generating customizable goal representation is disclosed. A request from a user to view a goal representation is received. A flexible goal ontology is accessed that comprises one or more goal entities, one or more goal relationships between the goal entities, or one or more goal properties, the one or more goal properties including one or more metadata attributes relating to the one or more goal entities. A set of mapping rules is obtained that defines mappings between one or more goals. The set of mapping rules is evaluated to assemble a customized goal representation tailored to the user. The customized goal representation is updated based on a revaluation of the mapping rules affected by changes to the one or more goal entities, the one or more goal relationships, or the one or more properties.

Abstract: A sanitary product disposal container includes a container housing having a movable housing top cover. A cover hinge assembly allows the top cover to pivot between open and closed positions. Accordingly, a used feminine hygiene product may be placed in the interior space of the container housing in the open position of the housing top cover while minimizing touching the container housing to open the housing top cover. The housing may be selectively opened to facilitate removal of the used feminine hygiene products from the interior space all without exposure to the used products or the escape of unpleasant odors.

Abstract: The aim of the disclosed dating method and mobile dating application for use on mobile devices is to have clients meet their significant others online through their friends. The disclosed app allows a vetter, a trusted friend of the client, to vet potential dating candidates and communicate with them prior to the candidate and the client being introduced by the vetter. Additionally, unique filters created by both the client and the vetter can be used to filter candidates.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a local version of a file is found in response to detecting an access of a remote version of the file. In response to the detecting, a determination is made whether the remote version meets a rule, and if the rule is met, then the local version is updated with the remote version of the file if the remote version is valid. The rule may be customized for the file. In various embodiments, the determination includes determining whether the remote version of the file was created more recently than the local version, whether the remote version has a level that is greater than the level of the local version, or whether the remote version is stored at a source location specified by the rule. In various embodiments, the level may be an audio or video quality of the file or an update identifier of the file. In this way, out-of date local versions of files may be updated with newer or better remote versions of files.
