  • Publication number: 20240127954
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and devices of detecting illness in presymptomatic and asymptomatic infected persons using wearable sensor technology. In a first embodiment, a method is implemented on a computing device, the method includes receiving first sensor data associated with the person over a first period of time and applying the first sensor data to a multi-variate detection model. The method further includes receiving second sensor data associated with the person over a second period of time and applying the second sensor data to the multi-variate detection model. Further the method includes determining a probability value of the illness in the person using the multi-variate detection model and transmitting the probability value to a user interface (UI).

  • Publication number: 20210251558
Abstract: A computer implemented method is disclosed for detecting a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) on a subject having recently suffered a head injury. The method includes (1) receiving first electrocardiogram (ECG) data from the subject during a first transition from a first position to a second position; and (2) determining a probability value of mTBI within the subject based at least partially on the first ECG data during the first transition. The first position may be a prone position or a supine position and the second position may be a standing position.

  • Patent number: 10508367
Abstract: A system with binary coding in a textile structure can include a textile sensor that senses a property and that has a yarn pattern. A binary code can be associated with the yarn pattern. When the textile sensor senses the property, the property alters relative positions of yarns in the yarn pattern, causing the associated binary code to change. A particular change in the binary code represents a defined value of the property. As a result, a second textile sensor having a second yarn pattern can be designed based on the unique binary codes of the first textile sensor measurements, such that the second textile sensor provides predictable responses to different property values.

  • Publication number: 20090234262
Abstract: A health monitoring and management device, system, and/or method can include a sensor adapted to detect changes in one or more health indicators and transmit data related to the health indicators. The system can further include an interventional element adapted to receive a health intervention command and provide a health intervention related to the health indicators. The system can further include a microprocessor adapted to receive and analyze the health indicator data transmitted by the sensor, formulate the health intervention command related to the health indicator data according to pre-determined parameters, and transmit the health intervention command to the interventional element. The health intervention command can be transmitted to the interventional element within a clinically relevant time period.

  • Publication number: 20090234265
Abstract: A compression adjustable fabric and/or garment, system, and/or method can include a compression element (a) integrated into a fabric structure, (b) having a compressive pressure capability independent from compressive pressure capabilities inherent in the fabric structure, and (c) adjustable to provide various compressive pressures. In such a garment, the compressive pressure provided by the garment can be adjusted in all or part of the garment while the garment is being worn. The compressive pressures in different parts of the garment may be independently adjustable. The compression element can further comprise an inflatable tube and/or an electrically stimulatable yarn. The compression element can be integrated into the fabric structure by being knit into, or laid in, the fabric structure.
