  • Patent number: 11549483
Abstract: The invention is directed to a rotor blade for a wind turbine. The rotor blade has a rotor blade main body which delimits a rotor blade cavity. A rotor blade tip is connected fixedly to the rotor blade main body. The rotor blade tip has a drainage bore which is coupled fluidically to the rotor blade cavity and which is open toward a suction side surface of the rotor blade tip, so that, via the drainage bore, fluid from the rotor blade cavity drains to the outside at the suction side surface of the rotor blade tip. The invention is also directed to a rotor blade tip.

  • Patent number: 11525430
Abstract: A wind turbine rotor blade includes a first row of vortex generators having two adjacent vortex generators each having a longitudinal axis and two first fins having trailing ends arranged in a distance d from each other. The two longitudinal axes define a center line. A second row of vortex generators includes a second fin having a trailing end arranged closer to the center line than a leading end of the second fin. The second fin is arranged on the same side of the center line as the first fin such that the trailing end of the second fin is arranged in a chordwise distance c from the trailing end of that first fin. A distance x of the trailing end of the second fin from the center line is within a certain defined range.

  • Patent number: 11174834
Abstract: A vortex generator defines a longitudinal direction and has two fins, which are each arranged at an angle in relation to the longitudinal direction and extend over a first length in the longitudinal direction, and a base, which connects the two fins to each other, the base having a width and extending over a second length in the longitudinal direction, wherein the second length is less than the first length over the entire width of the base.
