  • Patent number: 9634520
Abstract: A case for a mobile electronic device is a case for a mobile electronic device which is capable of accommodating a mobile electronic device with a display surface, and supplying electric power to the mobile electronic device, the case including: a holder section having a first face which comes in contact with at least a portion of the mobile electronic device and a second face opposite from the first face; a protection cover to cover the display surface; a solar cell module provided on the protection cover to generate electric power, the solar cell module being externally exposed when the display surface is covered by the protection cover; and a moving mechanism capable of moving the protection cover over to the second face side while maintaining the solar cell module in an externally exposed state.

  • Publication number: 20160308570
Abstract: A mobile electronic device casing is provided. The casing accommodates a mobile electronic device having a display screen surface and supplies power to the device. The casing includes a solar cell module comprised of one or more cells and having a characteristic that in a case where a relationship between an illuminance and an open-circuit voltage is measured using a solar simulator under conditions that an air mass is 1.5, a solar cell module temperature is 25° C., and a light incident direction is perpendicular to each cell, when the illuminance is decreased from 100 mW/cm2 to 1 mW/cm2, a reduction amount of the open-circuit voltage is 0.2 V or less, and when the illuminance is 1 mW/cm2, the open-circuit voltage is 0.55 V or more. The module is located on an opposite side from the display screen surface and exposed outside when the device is used while accommodated.

  • Publication number: 20160278493
Abstract: An electronic apparatus case includes a holder holding an electronic apparatus and a cover covering a display. In the holder, when taking an x1y1z1 orthogonal coordinate system where a direction orthogonal to and away from the display surface is a z1 axis, and a direction parallel to a side of the display is a y1 axis. In the cover, when taking an x2y2z2 orthogonal coordinate system where a direction coinciding with the x1 axis is an x2 axis, and a direction orthogonal to the cover, and away from an inner surface of the cover is a z2 axis, the z1 axis coincides with the ?z2 axis when the display is covered by the cover. The holder has a convex defining a rotation axis in the x1 axis direction and the cover has a track defining a gap extending in the y2 axis direction and storing the convex.
