In one embodiment, the system includes: (1) a graphics application programming interface (API) operable to cause a graphics processing resource of the mobile device to render data generated by an application to yield rendered data and (2) a network interface associated with the mobile device and operable to: (2a) transmit at least some of the rendered data via a network link for postprocessing to yield postprocessed data and (2b) receive the postprocessed data for display on the mobile device.
